Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Associate to join our Finance team. You will manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process—ensuring timely and accurate billing, cash application, and account reconciliation—while partnering with clients and internal teams to protect the company's cash flow and overall financial health.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and issue accurate customer invoices in line with billing schedules and contractual terms.
- Monitor customer accounts to identify outstanding balances and follow up on overdue items.
- Communicate with clients by phone and email to resolve billing queries and secure prompt payment.
- Apply incoming receipts to customer accounts and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Prepare supporting documentation for bank deposits and cash postings.
- Maintain complete and current records of all accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and distribute aging analyses and AR performance reports to management.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to resolve client disputes and prevent recurrence.
- Support month-end close activities, including revenue recognition and account reconciliations.
- Provide documentation and explanations to support internal and external audits.
- Identify opportunities to improve AR processes, systems, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable financial regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in full-cycle accounts receivable or general accounting.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks) is an asset.
- Familiarity with invoicing, collections, and credit-control practices.
- Legal authorization to work in Trinidad and Tobago.
- Availability to work full-time, Monday through Friday.
